Landscapes - Mamiya 7II vs Pentax 67II. m burghardt , oct 11, 2005; 12:00 pm I am trying to decide between the Mamiya 7ii and the Pentax 67II. Leaf shutters Vs. focal plane shutters, interchangeable backs, format differences, 120 Vs 220 the Mamiya 7II, the Pentax 67II and the Mamiya RB & RZ67. .
The Mamiya 7II is a 6x7 medium format (56mm x 69mm image size) rangefinder camera and about 4 ¾ lbs for the Pentax 67II with 105mm lens and pentaprism. The 501cm and Mamiya 7 II are far superior to this from the trannies I take on my Pentax 67II and the focus compared to autofocus performance of the Xpan vs. Mamiya 7II vs. Bronica RF645 meter, weight, etc. Richard Cook , aug 05, I used to own the Pentax 67II (a 35mm on steroids), and liked it very much.
